The CVA Accura V2 and LR muzzleloaders were designed with the long range hunter in mind, whereas the Accura MR is built to be an upgraded version of the Optima V2. The ACCURA MR (Mountain Rifle) with its lightweight design (6.35 pounds) and shorter, more compact 25” barrel, is designed to be easier to carry and more maneuverable than our standard muzzleloaders – with a fit and ease of target acquisition that is reminiscent of a custom-made rifle. Another noted difference in the stocks is the addition of rubber inlays in all of the CVA Accura models.
The ACCURA MR comes standard with our Nitride treated stainless steel Bergara® barrel with either a Realtree® MAX-1™ or solid black composite stock. The Traditions Kentucky Rifle Kit lineup features 3 excellent choices for percussion and flintlock hunters and shooters alike. These ergonomically designed stocks are fully ambidextrous and are available in both standard and thumbhole designs. With the 28” Bergara™ barrel, this muzzleloader will certainly have the capability to use the full range of these scopes.
